Job Description
IT Auditor
Our client is a well known management consulting firm that is seeking an IT Auditor to join their team for a short term engagement to assist with auditing of transaction monitoring & sanctions screening systems.
This would be specifically in the realms of data lineage, transaction coding, detection scenario logic, model validation & tuning, coverage analysis and NYDFS 504
Responsibilities:
The Auditor will report into and assist the Senior IT auditor who is responsible for designing, executing the audit coverage strategy of the IT and data quality and management programs.
S/He will also update the audit program, risk assessment and audit plans timely.
Responsible for governance of IT Policies and procedures
Ensuring that ITGC controls are completed with accuracy and completeness
Follow up with teams to ensure evidence is appropriate
Work directly with business, IT and IA to meet all audit requirements for IT
Requirements:
5 years’ experience with IT Audit
The candidate should have experience in ensuring documentary sufficiency of analytical procedures to support audit standards and bank regulatory expectations and be a proven manager with an established track record of overseeing and executing multiple deliverables.
S/he should have experience establishing and meeting goals, tracking and driving optimization
opportunities, and presenting progress.

Excellent communication skills
Experience conducting audits on transaction monitoring & sanctions screening systems
Experience with FIS Global EDD, egifts and Fircosoft
CPA and CAMS certification preferred
