Staff Accountant

Detroit, MI

Immediate need for qualified staff accountant in the Detroit area for long term consulting role.

Ideal candidate will have full-cycle staff accounting experience including month-end, reconciliations and variance analysis.

Responsibilities

Prepare journal entries for balance sheet accounts

Account reconciliations for all appropriate balance sheet accounts

Assist in month-end close process, variance analysis

Prepaid account adjustments

Accrued liabilities

Cash flow files, P&L statements, balance sheet statements

Ad hoc reports

Requirements

2-4 years of accounting experience, public accounting preferred

Advanced Excel, major ERP experience

Display ability to self-manage and work in a collaborative environment

Interpersonal, organizational and problem-solving skills

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or related discipline
