Job Description

Senior Software Engineer

Client is looking for experienced engineers that are passionate about backend API's and cloud technologies.

Ideal candidates have a desire to automate development process, scale and optimize efficiently, strong technical competency, opinions on future technologies, and most importantly, thrive in a team environment.

Experienced across full-stack technologies and eager to contribute and develop with the group!

Requirements,

A minimum of a Bachelor's Degree in a technical subject area

Minimum 5+ years of total software development experience preferred, 2+ years in Microsoft stack

Demonstrable experience with Microsoft web and backend development (C#, Visual Basic, ASP.NET,
JQuery, XML, SOAP, Web Services, DNN, SSRS, SSIS, Kendo and AngularJS)

.NET C# (including experience identifying and applying patterns)

Entity Framework (Fluent API)

SQL Database (MSSQL or Postgres)

Microsoft WebAPI

AWS experience specifically using API Gateway, SQS, SNS, RDS, S3

Experience using Git in a collaborative setting (feature branches and PR review)
Unit testing

Relational database experience with data modeling, reporting, query optimization, indexing in SQL Server.

Familiarity with Agile and Waterfall methodologies, with hands on experience in development and testing phases of the development life cycle
