Senior Accountant, Joint Ventures

Downtown Dallas, TX

Searching for a technical accountant with a specialty in Joint Ventures for a growing team in Downtown Dallas.

Ideal candidate will have a special interest in Joint Venture accounting, analysis and financial reporting, CPA (or CPA in progress) and a technical mindset.

Job Functions

Record and analyst monthly transactions with Joint Venture partners

Prepare monthly and quarterly financial reporting packages, complying with reporting requirements for Joint Ventures

Analyze financial data and financial statements, including preparation of month-end and account reconciliations

Serve as liaison between Joint Venture partners as needed for audits, reporting and projects

Cash flow entries, top-side, investments and other month-end entries related to account reconciliations

Accounting research and analysis related to Joint Venture agreements and activities

Ensure compliance with Joint Venture agreements including management contracts, employee lease agreements, intercompany notes

Assist Financial Reporting and Corporate Accounting teams

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field

CPA or CPA in progress

4+ years progressive accounting/finance experience

Experience with consolidation, impairments, transaction accounting

Public accounting experience, preferred

Communicate with Joint Venture Partners

Excellent communication and organizational skills
