Java Developer
6+ Months Contract to Hire
Lewisville, TX
ICS is hiring a Java Developer for our Client in the Lewisville, TX area!
SKILLS / EXPERIENCE YOU NEED:
7+ years professional experience with full development lifecycle from inception through implementation on the JEE stack including Spring framework and micro services.
3+ years current professional experience successfully delivering big data projects using Kafka, Spark, Cassandra and related stack on premise or cloud
In depth knowledge of Java 8
4+ years professional experience working on 1 or more NoSQL Databases such as Cassandra, HBase,
MongoDB, DynamoDB
Professional work experience deploying container base workloads ( Kubernetes)
Proficient in Linux OS and shell scripting
Experience in developing software solutions leveraging Test Driven Development (TDD)
In depth knowledge of OO and SOLID design principles
Excellent understand of Spring framework
Experience with Oracle databases
Experience applying and advancing modern agile software delivery practices such as scrum, continuous integration and delivery (CI/CD), TDD, and BDD, DevOps, and automation
Excellent verbal and written communication skills are required for the role
College degree in computer science or software engineering or equivalent is required
