Job Description

Programmer Analyst- Mobile

The Programmer Analyst- Mobile will be responsible for supporting the mobile releases for various applications.

This includes both iOS and Android platforms for applications which could be home grown or vendor provided.

This person should have a deep understanding of how the mobile applications and deployments work as well as with administration and support of the applications once they are deployed.

Responsibilities:

Systems Design, Development and Support

System and Requirements Analysis for Mobile Apps

Design and development of mobile applications (primarily iOs and Android based) using well accepted design patterns and frameworks

Documentation of technical specs and process flows

Migration planning and testing (such as Test Flight)

System Testing: DUT, SIT and UAT (Planning, execution and evaluation)

Issues resolution use of tools such as JIRA and TFS for issue lifecycle management

Production Release preparation in coordination with server-admins, vendors and app stores

Skills:

At least 8-10 years of prior work experience (3 years or more in the banking sector preferred);

Solid understanding of mobile platform architecture and security

Deep expertise in developing applications using SWIFT and Kotlin

Experience with core web technologies such as ASP.Net, C#.Net (Framework 4.0 and above), HTML, XML,
SOAP/Restful Web Services, WCF, Crystal Reports, MVC 4, AJAX, JavaScript, JSON, JQuery, Node JS,
Angular 4 and higher is a plus

Experience in working with mobile platforms (both iOS and Android) at least a good understanding of the
framework and mobile deployments.

Solid understanding of Object Oriented programming and Design Patterns

Multi-threading applications for high volume processing

Strong understanding of security concepts as it relates to mobile platforms

Deep expertise with tools/applications such as Android Studio, X-Code

Experience with app installations and configurations in various environments

Ability to troubleshoot production issues under pressure and in a timely manner

Ability to analyze and document business and process flows

Solid understanding of Windows, Mac and Unix/Linux based systems;

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in computer science or related field;

Ability to work with end users, technical staff and management as necessary.

Strong documentation and verbal/written communication skills.

Strong multi-tasking and analytical skills;

Needs to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
