Java Software Engineer - Mid - Senior
Contract to Hire
Denver Tech Center
Responsibilities:
Full Stack Java Engineer capable of writing and testing code
Overall delivery of software components working in collaboration with product and design teams
Follows existing process guidelines, team rules and best practices.
Full participation in the Agile Scrum process including speaking up and giving your opinion.
Ready, willing, and able to pick up new technologies and pitch in on story tasks (design, code, test, CI/CD, deploy, etc)
Able to research and learn new methodologies and technologies and bring knowledge to the team
Technical Skills:
Front End Skills: Single Page Applications (ReactJS, Vue JS, JavaScript, CSS, HTML ), Responsive Design
Back End Skills: REST APIs, JVM (Java - Spring, Spring Boot, Hibernate, etc.), Database (Postgres, MySQL, etc.).
Testing Tools: Postman, SOAP UI
DevOps/CI/CD: Jenkins, Docker, Kubernetes and OpenShift
Build Tools: maven, gradle, git
Qualifications:
Bachelor/Master’s Degree
3 years of overall experience developing & sustaining enterprise software/services.
2 years of Frontend development experience.
1 year of Backend development experience.
