Responsibilities Key liaison of month-end close business rhythm with international subsidiaries. This includes collaboration with various corporate teams and other finance community members on close guidelines and requirements. Lead the efforts to drive consolidation elimination governance for MS external reporting. Support period end close and reporting activities with an emphasis of intercompany balancing as well as subsidiaries close performance measurement. This includes monthly governance and analysis of selective areas as well as company-wide close performance measurement. Assist with evaluating emerging issues of close from different organizations. Maintain SOX controls and related documentation for SAP and GL compliance team and perform governance activities to ensure that the control activities are executed in compliance with GAAP and SOX regulations based on various business rhythms. Assist cross-team efforts to assure business intelligence quality and accuracy during quarterly Earnings Release and external reporting process. Assist the team in continuing to strengthen the relationships with various Corporate teams to drive innovative modern finance practices. Interpret Corporate policies to broader finance community regarding intercompany governance inquiries as well as evaluating emerging issues of Close from international space. Support governance of master data management policy. Act as a resource for various ad hoc projects. Qualifications Candidates must have a minimum of 5 years of relevant work experience; experience in a corporate management capacity with an emphasis on financial close and compliance is a plus. BS/BA in Business, Accounting /Finance or related field is required; MBA/CPA or relevant work experience required. Ability to develop accounting control workflows. Must have strong analytical, problem solving, project management skills. Must have demonstrated ability and willingness to dive into details and get things done.
