Business Operations Support Analyst

6+ Month Contract

Detroit, MI

Position Overview & Responsibilities:

Configure, test, and release several marketing campaigns per week. Responsibilities include:

Intake campaign requirements

Identify the correct product campaign template/method

Enter specific criteria/parameters (dates, limits, type of questionnaire to present, what questions to ask,
type of response, list of rewards, dealer validation required, etc.)

Write html for content, correct images and size, notes to call center agents, etc. May need to make
updates to HTML provided to ensure expected presentation occurs (more lines, larger font, centered, etc.)

Test campaign configuration to ensure expected results in User Interface, email layout/content, etc.

Run SOAP requests and understand and decipher the responses

Work with technical teams to refine solutions based on the features, architecture, and constraints of the relevant platforms

Ensure requirement traceability from business requirements through UAT

Act as post-launch Subject Matter Expert for internal and external contacts

Troubleshoot technical issues in both production and non-production environments

Use SQL to test and validate data and manage production issues.

Elicit, document, and maintain functional, non-functional, and system requirements

Devise application program solutions based on business problems, including:

Requirements documentation

Graphical representations

Presentations that describe the desired solution or product feature

Position Requirements:

3+ years of professional experience as a - Business Analyst, Business Systems Analyst, Systems Analyst or Programmer

Proficient in MS-Office suite (Word, Visio, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook)

Experience in SDLC – including creating test case scenarios and UAT

Ability to write SQL queries to validate, test, and troubleshoot data.

2+ years of experience in program configurations, email templates, and webpage configurations is required

2+ years of experience in HTML and SOAP UI.

Recent hands- on experience performing simple scripting and tagging in HTML and running SOAP requests is required.

Must have excellent communication skills, both oral and written, excelling in working in a fast paced,
dynamic environment.

Ability to determine the difference between Functional and Non-Functional requirements

Experiences using JIRA, or other issue management software programs is preferred

Experience with SharePoint is preferred

Experience with Confluence is preferred

Experience with COGNOS or other ad-hoc report writer is preferred
