Financial Analyst

Irving, TX

Responsibilities

Prepare financial reports, analysis and budgeting in support of multiple business partners

Communicate financials, forecasts, trends and issues with multiple locations and leaders to ensure accurate

Reconcile cash due, record necessary journal entries for business partners

Create monthly reporting and forecasting analyses, communicate trends and make recommendations to leadership

Maneuver large sets of data to accurately analyze current trends

Work alongside business management, accounting and finance to understand monthly financial results and analysis

Display excellent financial modelling skills in order to make fact-based decisions that will facilitate communication and business unit growth

Prepare quarterly statements, assist in quarterly/annual audits

Develop models and other ad-hoc analysis to support decisions on cost management and business growth

Requirements

Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance or related field, MBA a plus

2-5 years of experience as Financial Analyst or Accountant, financial services preferred

Advanced analytical and financial modeling skills

Advanced Excel, reporting/modelling, Access is a plus

Experience with automation and visualization tools including Hyperion Essbase, SQL, Tableau preferred

Effective communication and presentation skills

High level of analytical skills, strong initiative, resourceful problem solving skills in both technical and non-technical situations
