Senior Accountant

McKinney, TX

Expanding healthcare company is searching for an Senior Accountant to add to their growing team. Ideal candidate will have have a well-rounded knowledge of full-cycle accounting, an analytical mindset and ability to adapt quickly to change. Reach out today!

Responsibilities

Perform month-end, quarter-end and year-end close for supported entities

Analyze records, financial statements and reports for accuracy and completeness

Maintain processes and implement new procedures to ensure financial controls and compliance with GAAP

Prepare complex journal entries, review of account reconciliations for all appropriate balance sheet
accounts

Cash flow files, P&L statements, Balance sheet statements, Revenue recognition

Prepare monthly and quarterly financial reporting packages, complying with requirements for joint ventures and acquisitions

Analyze financial data and financial statements, including preparation of month-end and account reconciliations

Assist in the preparation of financial reports such as financial statements and budget

Conduct and assist in accounting projects, Ad hoc reports

Requirements

3-5 years of progressive accounting experience

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or related discipline

Major ERP experience, advanced Excel

Extensive knowledge of GAAP and financial statement preparation

Display ability to self-manage and work in a collaborative environment

Interpersonal, organizational and problem-solving skills
