Job Description

.NET DEVELOPER

A global healthcare organization is actively seeking an experienced .NET Developer as an addition to their local development team.

The .NET Developer will be extremely helpful in completing 2 of the major global projects this team is looking to complete.

The .NET Developer will be responsible for the detailed design, development, testing and implementation of web applications and integration components.

The ideal candidate will be able to work independently with minimal supervision and has a high level of personal initiative, a strong sense of ownership, takes leadership for driving problems to resolution and is detail oriented in all aspects of the role.

You will be working closely with the assigned Manager and Solutions Architect to draft, design and deliver all Development deliverables (design documents, code, unit test plans, JIRA/Confluence documentation/task updates, etc.).

Excellent communication skills are required.

Responsibilities:

Develops software solutions by studying information needs and requirements; conferring with users and other SMEs; studying systems flow, data usage, and work processes; investigating problem areas; following the software development lifecycle.

Write clean, simplistic code that effectively solves problems, but maintains as much extensibility as possible.

Be willing to help others and be willing to ask questions when you don't know something.

Analyzing Information, Software Design, Software Documentation, Software Testing, Teamwork, General Programming Skills, Software Development Fundamentals, Software Development Process, Software Requirements, Existing & emerging development & software architectures

Must have an inherent curiosity and desire to learn new technologies and concepts.

Documents and demonstrates solutions by developing documentation, flowcharts, layouts, diagrams, charts, code comments and clear code.

Documents knowledge and makes it available to assigned project resources to ensure business continuity;

Write and execute tests.

Follow development best practices including frequent code commits and task updates in JIRA.

Work on operational incidents and service requests.

Strong communication and collaboration skills.

Requirements:

Bachelor's Degree required – Software Engineering or Technology related major preferred

7+ years of .NET Development work experience, developing and implementing software & technology solutions.

IT related disciplines, software development, code management, QA, architecture disciplines, support & operational best practices.

3+ years of experience independently designing and implementing medium to large-sized software systems and components

.NET 4.7 or higher, C#, MVC, .Net Core 2.1 or higher

WebAPI & WebServices protocols, methods, and frameworks

SQL Server 2014 and higher

.DLL design, development, and management

Microsoft Dynamics Online, Dynamics APIs and OData is a nice to have

Ability to use at least one IDE

Ability to use interactive debuggers effectively

SSIS is a plus

JWT Authentication a plus

DevOps experience a plus on an AWS platform

ElasticSearch or Solr experience a plus

Modern web development experience a plus

Successful design and implementation of multiple software components and subsystems.

Ability to communicate the design and implementation of software systems including relevant strengths/weaknesses and reasons for implementation decisions.

Experience working on an Agile development team.

HealthCare experience is a plus.
