Job Description

Security Specialist will lead the forensics investigations for customers and prospects to assist in gaining visibility into security events and security incidents affecting their environment.

The security specialist will be part of the threat model and algorithm processes to validate and improve those behavioral models by running POCs, penetration tests and attacks against organizational networks as part of sales evaluations.

They will have intimate knowledge of the companies products and knowledge of other Security products from the forensics and IR fields.

They will develop expertise in security domains to build new/develop existing integrations.

They will analyze and respond to threats, report on their impact, develop remediation capabilities, and educate both customers and employees.

Responsibilities

Consult with customers to ensure that the products are a major component in their Security Operations Center and Incident Response Methodologies.

Simultaneously drive revenue growth and the maturity of customer security programs

Simulate attacks and penetration tests on customers’ environments as part of Sales evaluations.

Lead and perform full IR and Forensics investigations.

Integrate products with SIEM technologies.

Analyze both the companies metadata streams and streams from other product for use in incident response.

Qualifications

3 years of experience with Forensics tools and IR investigation methodologies.

Experience with enterprise security solutions (e.g. SIEM, firewalls, IDS, end-point protection, content filtering, IAM, DLP).

Experience with running information security services, pen-testing and risk assessments.

Proven experience in Cyber Security Operations (Monitoring, Detection, Incident Response, Forensics).

Experience with a diverse range of customers including financial, manufacturing, chemical, healthcare, and state and local government.

Proven success in contributing to a team-oriented environment.

Proven ability to work creatively and analytically in a problem-solving environment.

Excellent communication (written and oral) and interpersonal skills.
