Job Description - Senior Network Engineer
Senior Network Engineer
The senior network engineer will provide network and security day-to-day operations functions including.
Requirements:
Overseeing enterprise network security
Supervising the performance of daily maintenance, system upgrades, troubleshooting, and modifications during non-business hours
Supporting L2-L3 trouble tickets, projects, and process re-engineering efforts
Providing network system/ architecture design expertise as required
Documenting and testing of system recovery processes
Mentoring team members on network systems and troubleshooting
Supporting enterprise disaster recovery planning and testing
Performing ongoing technical research to ensure that network is secure, highly reliable, performs well, is cost effective, and meets the needs of the business
Experience:
Experience of designing and managing cross site/global network infrastructure
Monitor network performance and integrity
Outstanding network, wireless, security and engineering/architecture skills
Solid experience with network diagnostic, monitoring and analysis tools
Cisco CCNP/CCIE certified, or ability to demonstrate similar level of experience
Fortinet experience highly desirable
Cisco ACI experience highly desirable
Cloud and SD-WAN experience highly desirable
