Job Description

Job Summary:

Looking for a Software Developer to fill a role in our application development team. We are looking for a high energy individual to help us enhance, maintain, and troubleshoot our custom applications, while learning new technology to be able to handle bigger and better tasks.

This individual will have to be able diagnose and troubleshoot production problems and make medium size to large enhancements to existing systems and help develop new systems.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Consistently develop and deliver high-quality, low-defect features on schedule

Translate written requirements into functional code

Write and maintain automated test cases where applicable

Resolve bugs that come from QA testing or end user testing

Provide Level 3 support for production issues

Interface with BA's, QA, and support as needed to clarify issues or improve design

Create or update technical documentation as needed

Provide input into technical design

Review stories for technical feasibility

Review bugs for accuracy and clarify any missing steps

Give level of effort in points for stories or bugs

Lead design and implementation discussions

Assign work to developers

Perform code reviews on completed work

Aid in performing root cause analysis on production systems

Help maintain and keep up to date test plans

Other items as assigned

Qualifications Knowledge & Skill:

3-5 years of experience in application development using C# and SQL Server

SQL Server

NHibernate

NServicebus

C# and .NET

WPF (XAML)

Web/MVC

SSRS

SSIS

Education:

Baccalaureate degree. Preferably in Engineering, Computer Science, or MIS/CIS

Experience:

5-10 years of IT development experience

Working Conditions: Standard Office Criteria. Typical work hours are 8:00 am to 5:00 p.m. Monday through Friday.
