Job Description
IT Support Engineer
The IT Support Engineer will be responsible for providing technical support to our internal employees and clients across multiple operating companies and locations.
Some responsibilities include but not limited to:
Perform installation, training, maintenance, troubleshooting and repair of desktop technology hardware and software
Determine appropriate hardware and software based on corporate policy and end user requirements
Respond to incidents within SLA or within a timely manner with appropriate level of urgency, and follows up with customers on all issues
Use corporate incident management system to record and track all support work
Maintain accurate hardware and software records for corporate assets
May assist with the procurement of hardware and software
Support team’s abilities and functions through positive customer relations
Gain additional knowledge and stay abreast of current technologies through employee and company sponsored training, periodicals, and regular interaction with other teams
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology preferred
5+ years’ professional experience
Ability to research solutions and work hands-on when presented with an unfamiliar problem or technology
Capable of troubleshooting desktop and laptop computing for both Windows and Mac
Strong knowledge of Windows 7/10, Server 2008 R2/2012, Microsoft Office, office 365, and other
Microsoft applications
Knowledge of Apple products including iPhone, Mac, MacBook, and Apple TV
Ability to uphold the Firm’s Information Security policies by diligently reviewing and monitoring systems
