Business Analyst:

We are looking for a Business Analyst

This position is based in Merrimack, NH.Overview:

As part of the Health Care Group, the Business Analyst Consultant examines business systems and processes to identify customer and user needs, documents requirements, validates developed features, and addresses operational issues or process improvement needs to accomplish business objectives.

Will work closely with a Product Owner and technology team to create, prioritize, and maintain product backlog, as well as translate business requirements to technical resources to focus the team on delivering business solutions with highest customer value.

The successful candidate will be capable of executing in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.

Primary Responsibilities:Partnering with Product Management to create and maintain feature-level product roadmap.

Creation of product backlog according to business value or ROI.Creating drafts of epics and stories to seed product backlog to begin the refinement process.Determining and conveying vision and goals at the beginning of every release and sprint.

Elaborating on themes and features to define description and acceptance criteria throughout the process of story backlog refinement.

Participating in Agile ceremonies, such as daily standups, sprint planning meetings, demos, and retrospectives.

Working closely with User Experience Design (UXD) to define optimal user experience for features.

Inspecting the product progress at the end of sprints with the authority to accept or reject work done.

Leading Business Acceptance testing, partnering with stakeholders to identify test scenarios, write detailed test cases, create test data, perform and assist business users with test execution, triaging/managing defects to resolution, and reporting on overall testing progress/results.

Mitigating impediments that may impact successful team completion of release/sprint goals.

Supporting and/or leading deployment, business readiness, and solution enablement, e.g., web content specifications, user procedure writing, creation and delivery of user training.

Communicates externally with stakeholders to ensure teams are building the right product to meet customer needs, communication status and buffers team from potential distractions.

Education and
Experience:

Minimum 8 years of Business Analysis experience in health & benefits administration, systems development, product development and/or product/project managementExpertise in various business analysis methodologies and techniques, including data analysis, use case development, story writing, user acceptance testing, and product documentation.

Ability to translate business vision into defined and prioritized stories for the team backlog

Strong agile / scrum background with proven ability to work across multiple cross-functional global teams.

Certified Business Analysis Professional® (CBAP®) certification, Certified Scrum Product Owner certification desired or 3+ years practical experience with Agile, Scrum and/or Scalable Agile Framework methodologies (SAFs)

Bachelor's degree preferred; Master's degree is a plus.

Proficient in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, VisioExperience with Jira or similar Agile backlog management tool
