Job Description
This person will manage our lab environment to support the Cyber Defense & Fraud engineering organization, including VMware vSphere / vCenter / NSX hosting, Cisco Nexus networking, Windows / Linux OS images, Citrix XenDesktop / Netscaler remote access, and general administration & automation.
Advanced understanding of LOB technology drivers and their impact on architecture design, performance and monitoring, best practices and Banking policies
Advanced knowledge in the following key areas:
Hardware Architecture (performance testing, monitoring, operations)
Hardware Benchmarking (Agile, program managements, network management)
Design (compliance, security)
Network Engineering (planning, provision)
Proficient in more than one specific infrastructure technology
Advanced understanding of best practices and Banking policies
Demonstrated ability to conceptualize, launch and deliver multiple IT projects on time and within budget
Ability to articulate to more experienced management a technical strategy in clear, concise, understandable terms
Must be able to assemble technology solutions and effectively define and implement a working
architecture
Technical certifications as required
Additional Information:
• Expert proficiency with VMware vCenter and Citrix XenDesktop
• Intermediate or above knowledge of Microsoft Active Directory & Group Policy
• Intermediate or above knowledge of VMware NSX or similar network virtualization (VXLAN) products
• Intermediate or above knowledge of Citrix Netscaler for Remote Access and Traffic Management
• Intermediate or above knowledge of Cisco IOS/NX-OS or other similar switch platforms
• Knowledge of Bluecoat proxies or Fortigate firewalls beneficial
• Knowledge of vRealize Automation or vRealize Orchestrator beneficial
• Knowledge of infrastructure monitoring using Splunk or other SIEM platforms beneficial
