DATABASE ADMINISTRATOR – POSTGRESQL

GRAPEVINE/FLOWER MOUND, TX

POSITION:

ICS is looking for a Database Administrator, who has recent experience in a PostGres environment, to join our client's team in the Grapevine/Flower Mound area!

This person will be a major asset in contributing to new company initiatives that will modernize and improve efficiencies of the software solutions utilized across their customer base!

The ideal candidate will be a self-motivated individual who is a strong communicator and problem solver.

WHAT YOU'LL NEED:

Strong database administration experience using Postgres in production environments.

Knowledge of backups, replication and general troubleshooting

Proficiency on Linux/Unix. Ubuntu / Debian a plus

Strong SQL and query optimization skills

Experience with Ansible

Unix scripting

Excellent communication and problem-solving skills

Experience in Enterprise Support roles
