6+ month contract with chance to extend

Will sit first week in Madison, WI ... Then can work remote and come up to Madison every other week(s) for various meetings, etc.

Primarily Remote though - just needs to be within driving range of Madison, WI.

Our direct and long-term client is looking to hire a Coordinator / Analyst / Administrator type with proven
MS Power BI skills to support a North American Enterprise PMO.

The PMO oversees a multitude of projects (approx. 40 projects on an annual basis) and portfolios with the objective to constantly improve project execution, quality, and fiscal oversight.

The PMO develops, governs and implements processes and policies, supports PM personnel, gathers data and prepares analysis and presentations to management and governing boards.

The Data Analyst will work with the Project Online team in developing Power BI reports along with supporting the daily back-office operations of the PMO which includes: compiling of metrics and trends on project execution and quality, project resource and demand, maintain or updates PPM tools (Project Online), PMO templates and monthly PMO routines e.g. report creation, communication, deliverable tracking.

Development and enhancements of PMO reports using Power BI, Excel, Project Online and SharePoint

Help to maintain and improve PMO tools like

SharePoint, Project Online, PWA, MS Power BI (e.g. site collections, user set-up, schedule settings, etc.) to ensure ease of system use, contribute to further automation and improvements of SharePoint and Project Online

Technical Skills needed:


MS Project, PWA/Project Online (user and administrative capabilities)

MS Power BI skills – ability to create Power BI reports and pro-actively use analytical skills to Client trends in project execution and develop key PMO metrics.

SharePoint experience in at least one of the following

SharePoint 2013 O365 version (e.g. Designer skills; add custom lists, modify document libraries, site collection admin skills)

SharePoint Designer 2013 (workflows) – Designer skills, create and modify workflows and custom actions for SharePoint

InfoPath Designer 2013 (custom forms) – Designer skills, create and modify forms, create and modify rules, including data connections
