IT BUSINESS ANALYST

Irving, TX

ICS is hiring an IT Business Analyst with Oracle ERP knowledge.

The IT Business Analyst will function as a project lead for upcoming migration and integration projects.
The IT Business Analyst will help lead an ERP conversion project so ERP integration and/or implementation experience is highly preferred.

What You’ll Do:

Use critical thinking to understand data and processes without requiring supervision or direction for determining next steps

Perform data analysis for predictive outcomes that could be used for decision making

Lead Accounting/Finance IT projects from start to finish

Work outside documented/standardized processes to determine most streamlined approach for solving issue

Take initiative to learn processes (software functionality and business processes) and map together for gap analysis, reporting, software requirements, and/or presentations

Gather, analyze and document requirements for IT projects

Skils/Experience You’ll Need:

Minimum of a 4 year College Degree from an accredited university

3+ years’ experience as a Business or Data Analyst

Experience with ERP systems/projects required

Oracle ERP highly preferred

Proficiency with SQL to write queries and pull data from multiple data sources

Strong quantitative skills; Strong computer skills with working knowledge of MS Office products (Excel,
Word, PowerPoint), MS Visio or other graphical flow chart programs

Experience using data, statistical tools, and statistical software to identify high-impact process improvements and measure their effect

Excellent written and verbal communication skills; the ability to explain analyses and correlation to operational practices; easily communicate complex ideas

Strong math, statistical, analytical, database/computer science skills with ability to drive to conclusions

Ability to work with multiple groups including Accounting/Finance, IT, and Operations

Ability to work independently, as well as on project teams

Must have a "go getter " with a "can-do " attitude

Must take initiative and be a self-starter
