QA Specialist (POS Systems)
Direct Hire Position
Bloomington, MN
Position Responsibilities:
Analyze software and hardware for business requirement compatibility
Create and perform QA user acceptance test cases
Validate completion and results of user acceptance tests performed other departments
Identify, analyze, document and facilitate issue resolutions
Recreate and analyze production issues
Analyze, document and communicate test results
Document software and hardware installation, usage, and support requirements
Participate in upgrades, pilot and beta test for in-store systems
Work directly and collaboratively with vendors and company employees at all levels
Maintenance of the Retail Lab
Be the SME for in-store system technology
Position Requirements:
3+ years of QA testing / quality assurance analysis in a professional setting
2+ years of UAT (user acceptance testing experience)
POS (point of sale) systems experience
High degree of initiative and self-motivation looking for someone with an assertive "go-getter mentality
Experience working within a high transaction/retail environment
Basic troubleshooting skills and experience is a must
Bachelor’s Degree or related professional experience
QA certifications are preferred, but not required
Must have excellent verbal & written communication skills
