Job Description:

We need a strong data analyst, report writing developer to support Portfolio Analytics reporting development team.

Candidate should be an Excel power user and advanced knowledge of reporting development and analytical tools (scripted, YSL, YSR, SSRS, Excel, PowerBI) is strongly desired.

Candidate should be able to analyze large quantities of data from various sources.

The role is essential to complete the analytics reporting implementation for our Real Estate cornerstone client. Role will entail analysis, design and development of Portfolio Analytics reports using SQL, Excel (Power Query), SSRS in the near term and more strategic reporting infrastructure longer term.

Additional responsibilities include data strategy & validations, reconciliation, reporting, and business analysis.

Exposure to data warehouse development is desirable.

Essential Functions:

• Technical capabilities (such as programming) and Functional capabilities (such as business process knowledge) necessary to bring value to the role.

• Work in a data driven technology environment consisting of technology interfaces, custom apps and vendor applications

• Strong technical project management skillset

• Recommends ad hoc analysis and develops custom reports in response to changing business needs

• Evaluates, recommends, and develops business process improvements and enhancements, including developing detailed workflow diagrams and project plans from concept through implementation

• Develops requirements specifications according to standard templates.

• Identifies, analyzes, tests, and documents information for report development in multiple reporting options

• Collaborates with business leaders to continue the ongoing reporting process and help to resolve issues and improve processes

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in , Computer Science, Engineering or equivalent

• 8-10 years' of industry experience in a software development environment

• Strong communication and presentation skills

• Excel power user with advanced knowledge of Power Query, VBA and macros

• Advanced knowledge of reporting development and analytical tools (scripted, YSL, YSR, SSRS, PowerBI) strongly desired

• Experience in database management, financial analysis, SQL queries, and Custom Analytics reports strongly desired

• Real Estate technology background is desirable

• Exposure to Yardi Voyager 7S is desirable

• Exposure to ETL tools is desirable
