SERVICENOW SPECIALIST

DALLAS, TX

ICS is working with a client, who is a major professional services provider to the real estate industry, to find a ServiceNow Specialist to join their team in Dallas, TX!

This person will be part of the Infrastructure Services Team and be the point-of-contact for the company and its’ clients.

The ideal candidate will be a collaborative, mature, and client-facing individual with deep ServiceNow knowledge; from both a configuration to a development standpoint.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Provide day-to-day administrative and operational support to the ServiceNow user base

Assist the process for reviewing and improving policies and procedures to support an ITSM/ITIL
framework

Responsible for managing rollout of new ServiceNow modules, features, and functionality

Lead and implement the design and configuration of new solutions in ServiceNow

Monitor and optimize the health, usage, and overall compliance of the ServiceNow platform

Coordinate & execute platform upgrades & maintenance, update set management, system clone

Advise teams on design, development and overall best practice configuration of ServiceNow

Document/Maintain functional business requirements, process flow diagrams, and business use cases

Work with ServiceNow sales team to preview, evaluate, and implement the latest capabilities of
ServiceNow’s products

Responsible for training internal team members and clients on ServiceNow functionality

Responsible for working with and training offshore team members

REQUIREMENTS:

3+ years ServiceNow Administration and ServiceNow development/configuration experience

Proficiency in JavaScript to comfortably read, modify, and write both client and server side scripts

Experience with database design principles and procedures, particularly table/field schema, database relationships, business rules, Access Control Lists

Understanding of SDLC, Agile/Scrum, and Waterfall methodologies, but more important is a strong ability to adapt to varying hybrids on a project-to-project/client-to-client basis

Experience interacting with clients on a daily basis and providing status updates

Strong verbal and written communication skills required.
