Job Description

Premier financial services firm, serving investors nationwide is seeking an IT Security Control Analysts to join an existing team responsible for patch management and addressing security vulnerabilities and validating controls. This person will be responsible analyzing evidence from 3rd party vendors (relating to facilities technology for HVAC, AC, etc), assessing the controls in place and validating if they are still accurate or appropriate. Once validated they will escalate for further review. The ideal candidate will be able to determine when a patch should be put in place and how to go about patch management. Primary responsibilities for the Operational Risk team include 1) monitoring and communicating project status 2) designing/testing processes and controls prior to registration. The team will be required to communicate across audiences from technology managers to senior technology and risk leadership.

Must-haves

-5- 8+ years of IT security/risk/compliance/audit experience

- patch management background

- Experience validating and rating IT controls to address security vulnerabilities

- Experience reviewing evidence from scans

- understanding of risk frameworks COBIT, NIST, ITIL (Change management/problem management)

Plusses

- risk management for facilities technology (HVAC systems, AC etc)

- Knowledge of Information Security, Network Configuration, Server Patching

- Financial background

- CISA or other related certifications
