Job Description

Our client is looking for an individual proficient in SQL development as well as experience working across enterprise environments and querying very large amounts of data with multiple operating systems/infrastructure for large-scale programs.

Job Description:

* Experience with SQL/SAS development within the reporting functionality of the business

* Work closely with stakeholders to understand requests for new control reports and enhancements to existing reports. Research, evaluate and recommend solutions to achieve those requirements.

* Partner with business analyst and business process owners to model, design, develop, code, test, debug, document and implement control reports into the production environment through standard processes.

* Conduct design and code reviews in compliance with standards set forth by the team and technical leads

* Participate in user acceptance testing process to ensure developed report fulfills business requirements

* Provide production support of existing control reports as needed

* Comply with all technical and process controls to ensure a stable and secure production platform

* Experience working on the Unix platform necessary

* Any background with BI tools such as Tableau, Cognos, etc. are a plus

* Strong understanding of Agile methodologies with ability to work in at least one of the common frameworks

* Working proficiency in a portion of software engineering disciplines and demonstrates understanding of overall software skills including business analysis, development, testing, deployment, maintenance and improvement of Software

* Must be a self-starter and able to interpret business needs.
