DESKTOP SUPPORT ENGINEER
Oak Brook, IL
6+ month contract to hire
Our Atlanta based client is hiring a Desktop Support Engineer for a contract to hire position in Oak Brook.
The ideal candidate will have a strong focus around customer service, excel in supporting both hardware, applications and mobile devices.
What You’ll Do:
Provide support enterpise wide, both over the phone and deskside
Complete project work (managing new and existing hardware shipments, hardware deployments, imaging, etc)
Support mobile devices enterprise wide
Resolve tickets in a timely manner
Provide an excellent customer experience to all end users
Skills/Experience You’ll Need:
5+ years of enterprise IT Desktop Support experience
A+, Network+ and/or HDI certifications
Experience supporting the following:
MDM tool(s)
Windows (XP/7/10) imaging and support
Internet connectivity issues
Password Resets
Desktop deployments/refreshes
Exchange (configuring accounts and migrating profile data)
Printers (add and configure)
PC/Laptop/Tablet staging and imaging
ServiceDesk Plus or a related ticketing system
Excellent communication skills and a true passion for learning and growing technically
