Job Description

General Summary:

Immediate need for a full time Accounts Payable Coordinator to join the team located in Boca Raton, FL.

In this position, the employee will be responsible for all accounts payable functions; including validation of invoices, vendor payments within terms, and reconciling monthly credit card payments.

In addition, the individual will work closely with the accounting team on the monthly and year end closing process.

Salary is commensurate with experience, bonus eligible.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

Process all invoices and payments for vendors and suppliers, ensuring accuracy of payment, terms,
required approvals, and G/L coding.

Assist with month-end close process, including credit card and bank reconciliations. Post transactions to
journals, ledgers, and other records.

Scan invoices for e-filing and property manager approval.

Handle all vendor inquiries and vendor account analysis.

Prepare and file various compliance requirements including 1099s.

Perform other accounting functions as required.

Identify and initiate productivity and process improvement ideas

Qualifications & Skills:

Minimum of two to five years of accounts payable experience with high volume invoice processing.

Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite required especially in Excel

Self-motivated, highly-organized, detail-oriented, and high-energy individual with an outgoing ‘can-do’ attitude

Exceptional communication skills both written and verbal

The ability to multi-task in a friendly work environment
