Context of Job:

MT&R IT(part of IS&D) provides IT services, in terms of application and systems solutions development, implementation and support, to ABF business, Operations, Back Office and MRM areas.

The Senior Software Engineer, with sound business knowledge, will be able to gather, understand and analyze user requirements to provide the best IT systems solutions for ABF and related areas.

The job holder will also help in project management and preparing required Project Management documents as required. The job holder will also provide a necessary application support

Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities:

Develop and implement tools and solutions for Securitization business (ABF) as needed

Participate in project implementations and contribute to the success of the projects throughout the life cycle of the project.

Front Line support for ABF and various applications within MT&R IT area.

Provide immediate and quality user support to resolve production issues thereby minimizing any disruptions to business.

Contribute to the IT strategic architecture based on the business strategy

Pro-actively come up with possible technical solutions to cater for the business needs

Communicate with other groups to resolve issues in timely manner

Requirement gathering and Analysis of business needs and providing solutions

Prepare Project Management documentation as required

Job Skills and Knowledge:

Knowledge of Securitization (ABF) business is required.

Must have at least 5+ years of experience in the financial industry working in a similar role or performing similar functions.

Should have experience in using MS development tools (C#, VB.NET, ASP.NET, Etc.), various databases (MS SQL, Oracle), various reporting tools (MS SQL Reporting, Crystal Reports, BI tools), MS Office products.

Previous experience in implementation of IT solutions and ability to work closely with Traders and
Operations to develop solutions, and support and resolve production issues.

Qualifications:

Degree in Information Technology/Computer Science related field is required
