Job Description

We are searching for a Senior Accountant to play a key role in the Accounting department during an exciting period of high growth and process transformation.

The ideal candidate will be a natural numbers wizard with a strong working knowledge of GAAP to apply principles of accounting, analyze financial information and prepare financial reports to maintain appropriate compliance and governance for the Company.

The Senior Accountant will be a demonstrated self-starter who thrives in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.

Responsibilities:

Prepare and maintain monthly and quarterly general ledgers for multiple legal entities

Perform fluctuation analysis and variance investigation to comparable periods and budget performance

Assist in preparation and analysis of all internal and external financial reporting; review, investigate, and correct errors and inconsistencies in financial results, documents and reports on an ongoing basis

Prepare monthly, quarterly and annual account reconciliations

Direct interaction with external auditors, including key contact for support preparation

Assist in preparation and consolidation of administrative expenses, other income and expense items and various ad-hoc items in the budgeting and forecasting processes

Assist in setting and maintaining compliance with all SOX requirements

Assist in implementation of GAAP and company policies throughout domestic and foreign reporting entities

Other responsibilities as assigned by the Company

What you bring:

BS in Accounting; MBA and CPA preferred

4+ years of experience; mix of Public and industry experience preferred

2+ years of experience with a public company

Comprehensive understanding of GAAP and financial reporting requirements

Subject matter expert in Lease Accounting and Revenue Recognition

Strong track record of delivering accurate and timely accounting information and reports

Strong understanding of Sarbanes-Oxley and experience implementing a strong control environment for the financial close and reporting process

Extremely strong communication skills; proven ability to communicate effectively with internal and external business partners at various levels

Driven, confident individual who is comfortable working independently while actively seeking guidance when necessary
