IT BUSINESS ANALYST
6+ MONTH CONTRACT; OPPORTUNITY TO EXTEND OR CONVERT
NASHVILLE, TN
THE POSITION:
ICS is looking for an IT Business Analyst to join our client's growing team in Nashville, TN! You will be the liaison between the business line and technology to drive successful implementations and great customer service.
You will be an advocate for the business to identify and deliver technology and business solutions.
WHAT YOU'LL DO:
Lead requirement sessions with clients and elicit requirements at a business and functional level.
Perform GAP analysis between current and future state.
Guide other business analytics resources with the development of software artifacts including: business process flows, screen prototyping, and user stories.
Work with development and project management to build plans for implementation using agile practices.
Create and manage requirements traceability matrix to track completion of requirements.
Help with the professional development of the business analyst resources on team.
Create and manage product backlog using ticketing systems such as JIRA or TFS (or equivalent).
Educate development staff regarding requirements and help guide decisions made regarding implementation of software solutions.
Provide project status to appropriate stake holders for business analytics activity.
Provide guidance to testing in the development of test scripts to ensure requirements are being fulfilled and quality of product.
WHAT YOU'LL NEED:
5+ years in a Businss Analyst position for a SaaS solution or product
Experience leading enterprise system implementations
Experience creating user stories.
Experience creating business process flows (using Visio or equivalent).
Experience working screen prototyping tools.
Worked with ticketing system to managing software delivery (JIRA, TFS, etc).
Worked on Agile Development projects.
Experience working with relational databases.
Bachelor's degree in Information Systems or similar study is highly preferred
CBAP certified business analyst
Experience with transactional sales systems
