We are seeking a Delivery Manager to join our team in NYC supporting one of our commercial clients.

The Delivery Manager will be responsible at the project level tasks, such as SDLC compliance, project planning, task management, communication, budget and scope.

The Delivery Manager will build a comprehensive, integrated plan of all the activities required across the various functional teams and indirectly manage the team members to complete the project in accordance with commitments.

Responsibilities:

Ensure that assigned projects are delivered on-time, within scope and within budget while following corporate processes and procedures.

Develop project scopes and objectives, involving all relevant stakeholders (including internal Business partners, internal technical partners, and external vendors) and ensure technical feasibility.

Coordinate teams in troubleshooting and resolving production support issues which require cross-team coordination, especially those impacting customers

Determine impacts to projects’ scheduled delivery commitments as a result of resources being redirected due to fluctuating priorities

Work with functional managers and leads to develop project plans based on resource availability and project commitments and track progress against the plans.

Use appropriate verification techniques to manage changes in project scope, schedule and costs.

Measure project performance using appropriate systems, tools and techniques.

Report and escalate to management as needed.

Manage the relationship with the client and all stakeholders.

Perform risk management to minimize project risks.

Create and maintain comprehensive project management documentation.

Review deliverables, obtain appropriate business approvals, and provide final sign-off for milestones.

Secure commitments from line managers, coordinating project plans and activities as well as resolving project issues across the following roles:

The Business Solutions Managers driving functionality requirements and solution.

The Data Architects defining logical to physical attribution, modeling and architecture, and data casting/transformations and data flows.

The Developers performing technical design and coding.

The Quality Assurance Analyst preparing for and performing functional and integration testing and postproduction validation.

The Operations Analyst supporting infrastructure setup, user access and support, production data analysis, job automation, and controls development.

Third parties/vendors providing software product configurations, customizations, and integrations.

Required Skills:

BA/BS degree.

10+ years as a project manager.

Experience managing multiple projects with distributed resources on and off shore is required.

Experience working in an Agile environment.

Solid experience with MS Project, Jira, Planview, Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Visio.

PMP / Scrum certification is a plus.

Previous experience working on Enterprise Data/DWH/Marketing centric projects is a plus.
