Responsibilities: ” Develop and maintain front-end codebase ” Provide status updates to Sr. Manager of Engineering ” Work closely with scrum team and back-end developers to ensure best practices around SDLC ” Participate in daily standups ” Help author the test framework and incorporate automated testing ” Work to improve velocity of the scrum process Basic Qualifications: ” 5+ years proficiency in Modern web development around SPA (Single Page Application) development ” Thorough understanding of React.js, Redux and its core principles ” Able to define, document, and communicate the front-end architecture ” Ensure cross-browser, cross-device compatibility ” Resolve bugs where required ” Experience with automated user interface testing for multiple browsers and devices ” Have strong communication skills ” Have worked as part of a Scrum team and understand Agile methodologies ” You are a team player and are comfortable acting as either a leader or a member of a project team Preferred Qualifications: ” Expert in authoring HTML, CSS, and JavaScript ” A Strong background in functional programming (React patterns a plus) ” A Strong understanding of the Design principles and patterns for Node.js ” A Strong understanding and use of Asynchronous API patterns ” An understanding of AWS CloudFormation and CI/CD structures a plus
