Job Title: Technical Compliance Specialist

General Description

Provide audit information to management by researching/analyzing data, and preparing reports.

Provide a single point of contact for all internal and external compliance requirements.

Responsible for facilitating the development, implementation, and management of all compliance programs for Production Operations, as well as writing detailed reports for management based on observations.

Job Duties

Work side-by-side with management and engineers in production operations team to liaise with auditors, both internal and external.

Provide guidance on how to define, adjust, and comply with controls.

Ensure appropriate generation and retention of artifacts in support of controls.

Prepare compliance audit data and reports by compiling and analyzing internal and external information.

Support production operations organizations by collecting and coordinating internal compliance data with auditors and other departments.

Provide administrative support by implementing systems, procedures, and policies.

Revise compliance support programs to meet changing needs of company.

Train others on compliance guidelines, requirements and standards.

Requirements

Familiar with internal controls frameworks, such as SOX or SOC

Experience with IT general controls

Familiar with Linux or other operating systems

Willingness to learn new technologies and/or automation

Willing to learn agile/scrum development processes

Strong attention to detail

Support multiple compliance projects simultaneously

Strong communication skills

Time-management

Capable of researching and analyzing disparate information sources

Capable of understanding, at a high level, how the technical systems operate
