What You Will Be Working On:

You will be instrumental in leading the effort to build scalable, extensible and easily maintainable solutions in support of our initiatives.

We build and operate everything from the user facing suite of applications to process royalties and manage our music catalog as well as the data pipelines that integrate our many systems and keep the business running.

What we do:

Build data processing, financial and catalog management web-based applications

Develop microservices based on Java 8+, Kotlin, AWS Lambda

Build UIs based on React, and Material-UI

Deploy services on AWS/Kubernetes/Docker

Follow Agile development practices

What's Your Story?

At a minimum we're looking for the following in a candidate:

BS in Computer Science or related field with 15+ years of experience

Track record of architecting, designing, and implementing scalable, distributed, consumer or business facing services

Ability to effectively communicate and coordinate cross-team and cross-functionally to get things done

Dedication to conduct regular code reviews and mentor engineers to deliver high quality code

Strong leadership qualities to keep engineers focused on quality, performance, requirements and making sound technical decisions

Proficiency in establishing development guidelines and best practices and enforcing them across the team throughout the SDLC

Broad language and framework experience that extends beyond Java and the JVM

Experience in Agile software development, DevOps culture, cloud deployment, and test focused development

Familiarity with functional programming paradigms

Familiarity with entertainment industry is a plus
