Technical Lead 3-5 year Contract Edina, MN Looking for a Technical lead to guide and mentor multiple scrum teams in continuing to generate revenue through legacy critical business systems as well as work towards the development and launch of a new core system. Expectations/Responsibilities Mentoring, knowledge sharing Work direction Instills confidence in business partners that needs can be met Troubleshooting and increasing the research/troubleshooting skills of other team members Facilitate knowledge transfer between team members to reduce bottlenecks and wait time Escalation of team roadblocks and personnel concerns Documentation to assist in troubleshooting Minimum requirements RPG experience Mentorship experience Knowledge share experience Experience in collaborative team environment, working with different personalities and backgrounds "Figure it out" and learning mentality; willing to help Research and troubleshooting experience Experience partnering with Product Owner/Scrum Master Leadership experience Receptive to feedback and able to provide feedback tactfully as needed Preferred qualifications 7+ years of IT experience Knowledge of COBOL SQL Experience CL (Control Language) Experience Operating System experience Experience with offshore team members (coordination, communication) Insurance industry experience Billing system experience (ideally in insurance industry)
