Job Description
Dev-Ops Engineer
Help us deliver features, on-premise installs and make sure out backend is running smoothly.
You'll be the lead on all DevOps-related activities and a key member of our development team delivering core features to the additive community every day.
This role is perfect for a developer who has always loved DevOps, or a DevOps professional looking to gain more full-stack experience. You'll probably end up being 50/50.
This is a role for a self-starter who wants to take more ownership and learn. You will probably have about 1+ years of development (read: daily commit) experience at min, preferably more.
You're probably going to be based in Philadelphia unless you're incredible, blow away candidate with years of experience who can commute in every week for a day.
Required skills:
- 1+ years experience with programming in Python (Flask/Django experience is a plus)
- In-production experience with DevOps tooling (Docker for containerization, Jenkins for CI/CD pipelines)
- Practical experience with AWS and Azure
- Knowledge of infrastructure automation and scripting (Git, Ansible)
- Familiarity with open source technologies (Nginx, Redis, PostgreSQL)
- Strong software engineering fundamentals and ability to design and implement core architecture
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
