SENIOR .NET DEVELOPER
Irving / Las Colinas TX
9+ Month Contract; opportunity to extend or convert
ICS is hiring a .NET Developer for our Client in the Irving / Las Colinas area! This position reports directly to the Director of Technology and Engineering.
WHAT YOU’LL DO:
Assist in developing an online web application
Perform application development in the .NET and Cloud environment
Collaborate with internal teams to develop and implement as per the design and architecture
Write clean, scalable code using .NET programming languages
Test and deploy applications and systems
Revise, update, refactor and debug code
Improve existing software
Develop documentation throughout the software development life cycle (SDLC)
Serve as an expert on applications and provide technical support
Perform functional analysis, technical analysis, coding and unit testing for moderate-sized financial services applications.
Participate in functional/technical group discussions with analysts and developers
SKILLS / EXPERIENCE YOU NEED:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field
3+ years of directly relevant experience in developing .NET applications
Proven experience as a .NET Developer using ASP.NET MVC, C#, HTML5, Jquery, Entity Framework, SQL Server
Experience with JavaScript and Sencha
Experience developing in the cloud specifically with AWS & Azure
Experience in developing data queries for analyzing source data
Experience with data extraction, transformation and load scripting
Excellent troubleshooting and communication skills
Attention to detail
Ability to work as part of a team and individually
