We're working with an international personal care and cosmetics brand that's looking to bring on a Senior Systems Network Administrator to join their growing IT department.

This person will be reporting to our Regional Infrastructure Manager. The Senior Systems Network
Administrator will be involved in all aspects of our IT infrastructure operations.

He or she will support highly complex systems including the integration, security and high level Windows server administration.

The individual will provide input, design and manage the future direction and growth of the Windows server infrastructure environment, performing design and implementation of enterprise wide
infrastructures, which includes Windows servers, VMware environment, Cloud enviroment and enterprise network and storage solutions.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

Support our global IT infrastructure

Management of Windows server environment across the organization

Provide expertise and recommend all solutions to meet technical and business requirements
Cloud Environment

Datacenter Management

System Administrator will be responsible for all equipment and maintenance of our Datacenters

Windows environment management and maintenance

System administrator will be responsible for building Windows virtual and physical servers as well as
administering them.

VMWare Administration

Responsible for the overall installation, maintenance, patch application and overall configuration of our VMware infrastructure

Responsible for creation of virtual Windows servers

Reviewing resources relating to our VMware infrastructure. This includes overall physical hard this space in our SAN, memory, CPU and network requirements.

SAN management

Responsible for the overall maintenance, configuration and vendor management of our EMC SAN

Backup/High Availability/Redundant Strategy/Disaster Recovery

Will need to ensure that we keep and maintain a strategy that will minimize downtime and secure our data from disaster

KEY PERFORMANCE INDICATORS:

Delivery of projects on-time and on budget

Maintaining a proactive approach to preventive maintenance on the various systems that the organization relies on to make sure that we have

Maintaining a security at the forefront of any of the projects that are being implemented.

REQUIREMENTS:

5+ years of experience as an IT systems engineer experience

Previous experience working or administering a VMware environment.

Knowledge about Networking concepts

Experience with design, migration, maintenance of Cloud Environment

Certifications MCSE, CCNA or other Cisco certifications, other Microsoft certifications would be preferred to gauge level of knowledge and expertise

SKILLS

Candidate should be an expert in working with Windows server technologies: active directory, DHCP, DNS, clustering servers together

Deep knowledge of storage systems. Preferably EMC VNX storage systems.

Working with PowerShell

Candidate should have a deep understanding about networking concepts. He or she should be familiar
how network design affect the operation and configuration of Windows server systems in a physical and virtualized environment.

General knowledge of the following technologies VMware, Microsoft products including some SQL,
Exchange and or Office 365

Have a deep understanding about group policy objects (GPO)

Installing, configuring and maintaining Microsoft exchange on premise

Ideal candidate should also have knowledge about working with Office 365 on cloud technologies
