Job Description
ANDROID DEVELOPER
Grapevine/Flowermound
6+ month contract to hire
ICS is hiring an Android Developer for a growing SaaS platform team! The Android Developer will develop externally facing, Native Android mobile solutions.
What You'll Do:
Design, implement and support business and consumer oriented mobile applications.
Interact with customers.
Validate requirements and system design.
Document all development activities.
Automate and streamline existing processes, procedures, and toolsets.
Ensure code paths are unit tested and defect free.
Participate in full integration testing.
Rapidly address issues and fix defects discovered during deployment.
Perform other projects as assigned by management.
Skills/Experience You'll Need:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, MIS, Mathematics, Engineering, or other technical field or related experience.
5+ years' hands-on experience developing Native Android (Java SDK) mobile applications
Android Auto and/or SmartWatch experience is a plus
Experience with geolocation, camera access and push notifications is preferred
Must have apps created in the App store or Google Play store.
Experience with unit testing is required
Strong OOP knowledge
Understanding of rapid development and continuous release methods
Knowledge of Android Eco Systems.
Experience reviewing and supervising mobile design components
Experience driving and supervising mobile technology build, test and deployment activities
Experience troubleshooting, diagnosing, and supporting mobile application development.
Device automation testing is preferred
