Job Description

Infinity Consulting Solutions (ICS) is your destination for discovering your next long term contract role at our Financial Services client.

We are currently sourcing for a Cybersecurity Systems Engineer to work in in their Enterprise Cyber Security Group in Durham, NC!

Out client is looking for a Cybersecurity Systems Engineer to join the Systems Engineering team within the Enterprise Cybersecurity (ECS) business unit.

The successful candidate will possess expertise with supporting distributed server & applications, APIs and cloud-based enterprise applications.

The Expertise We’re Looking For

Bachelor’s degree in computer science or equivalent technology field.

Minimum of 3 years IT experience, preferably in a distributed IT Engineering and/or support function is required.

Experience with RESTful API integration, configuration and management is required.

Experience in working with SaaS solutions managing / onboarding new SaaS providers by integrating with internal applications, configuring logging & monitoring and implementing SaaS security operational requirements is highly preferred.

Experience with Microsoft Cloud App Security (MCAS) is highly preferred.

A cloud foundations certification (MS Azure / AWS) is highly preferred.

A cyber security certification such as CISSP an advantage.

The Purpose of Your Role

As a member of the Systems Engineering team, your role will include, optimizing and supporting existing security tools and capabilities, working with our business partners to assess security gaps, recommend, build and implement solutions and controls for risk mitigation.

The Skills You Bring

Strong knowledge of supporting operating systems: Windows Servers and/or Linux.

Solid grasp of how TCP/IP networks function (protocols, ports, proxy log analysis, DNS etc.).

Familiarity with ITIL or another IT service management framework.

Strong written and verbal communication skills are essential as this role involves working with different teams across the enterprise.

Ability to work closely with teammates to solve problems, transfer knowledge, and develop overall product architecture.

Excellent problem-solving skills with a dedication to the highest levels of quality and demonstrated accuracy and thoroughness.

Experience in working with cloud computing technologies (MS Azure / AWS).

Experience in working with SaaS solutions with exposure to integration and operationalization efforts.
