Job Description

As a Senior Software Engineer, your focus will be involved with the engineering and maintenance of the client's system integration architecture between a variety of systems.

Your goals are to make the company more efficient and provide better customer service through technology.

The Senior Software Engineer maintains smooth communications between business-critical systems and ensuring easy transitions when changes or maintenance are required.

Daily activities will include serving as the initial contact for developing and implementing new system integrations, and working with business stakeholders to identify and evaluate the feasibility of new integrations opportunities.

Job Requirements

Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience in Information Systems, Information Technology, Computer
Science, Informatics, or a related technology field

8+ years development experience in the .NET Framework (C#) using Visual Studio

5+ years experience with RESTful API/SOAP services

2+ years experience with .NET Core

2+ years experience with one or more of the following:

iPaaS/ESB solutions

TMS, WMS, or other enterprise logistics platforms

Microsoft Azure suite of resources

Proficient in Microsoft SQL

Conversant knowledge of EDI technologies

Proficient in Microsoft Office suite of products including Visio

Respond quickly to identify and resolve issues

Proven critical and analytical thinking skills

Excellent verbal and written communication skills

High level of professionalism

Motivated and results driven attitude

Some after-hours support depending on business requirements

Experience with the following will be viewed as a plus

Data Warehousing technologies (Snowflake)

BI or Data Visualization tools (Tableau or Power BI)
