About the position

We are looking for an experienced network engineer to join our New York team, which is currently designing and deploying new network topology to support the firm's Global trading environment.

These updates will form the foundation of our next-generation trading platform.

Its flexibility, and performance are critical for the firm's continued success.

Our network is a key part of our competitive advantage, which gives the networking team a significant role in the overall firm.

Our network handles many millions of messages, shepherding billions of dollars every day.

We hope to find someone who can grow to assume network lead status for one of our Europe, Asia, or North America regions.

About you

Requirements:

Recent hands-on experience deploying and maintaining networks for a company where the network is central to its operations.

Solid automation and administration skills: – Comfortable on a standard UNIX command line – Fluent in one or more scripting languages (Python, bash, etc.).

Ability to build a network from the ground up.

Arista and Cisco expericence.
