CLOUD INFRASTRUCTURE ENGINEER

DALLAS/FORT WORTH AREA

ICS is looking for a Cloud Infrastructure Engineer to join one of our growing client’s teams in the Dallas, TX area!

This position will work closely with the Data Management team in the delivery of business-transformation technology projects, as well as providing operational support for next-generation applications, systems and services.

This position is a responsible and trusted member of the team, relied upon to provide exceptional services and solutions that make a visible and valued contribution to company goals.

The Infrastructure Engineer is a hands-on tactical player who will implement and maintain all facets of the company’s Infrastructure, connectivity, systems, and security between all points.

WHAT YOU’LL DO:

Point of escalation, specific to network connectivity, for all Proof-of-Concepts, new installs and existing installs.

This will require working directly with internal business units and external business partners and customers.

Work with managed service provider to ensure Azure resources are being monitored.

Support Azure resources including resizing appropriately for cost containment.

Support IoT platform such as provisioning, VPN, remote access and SFTP.

Support the cloud infrastructure security to address risks, vulnerabilities and exploits.

Work closely with the Data Management team as it relates to Azure resources.

Work closely with the Engineering team as it relates to the recycler computing operating systems.

WHAT YOU’LL NEED:

3+ years of supporting a cloud infrastructure; within both a Windows and Linux environment

3+ years of network routing and switching experience

Experience in Azure resources and their SKUs and SLAs.

Experience with Linux operating system such as Ubuntu.

Experience with cloud-based high availability, load balancing and redundancy such as availability zone and availability set.

Experience in Azure networking such as network interface, private and public IP address and domain name.

Experience in Azure security such as network security group, inbound and outbound rules.

Experience in general networking such as IP address, proxy setting, NAT, VLAN and TCP/UDP ports. Must
know how to review network logs.

Experience in general infosec technologies such as firewalls, IPS/IDS, SIEM, pentest, mitigate risks, vulnerabilities and exploits. Must know how to review firewall logs.

Able to help non-technical people solve technical problems while maintaining a positive attitude.

Extremely strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Outstanding verbal, written and visual presentation skills.

Ability to work independently, establishing strategic objectives, project plans and milestone goals.
