Fund Accounting Manager

Responsibilites

Oversee a department responsible for obtaining information prepared by property accountants and other groups within the business and consolidate the real estate properties into their respective funds for timely internal and external reporting.

Perform analysis of fund performance to identify key drivers for changes in performance, trends and anomalies.

Review the output including relevant workpapers, analysis and reporting of the Fund Accounting team including performing detailed analysis as required to ensure the integrity and accuracy of fund data.

Be responsible for the monitoring and/ or performance of key financial reporting controls surrounding the consolidation and financial reporting analysis.

Act as a key liaison with other accounting groups, management and firm leadership surrounding the fund data.

Support ad hoc business requests for fund financial information and analysis to provide key insight into business performance.

Requirements

BA or BS in Finance, Accounting or related field. CPA highly preferred.

At least 4+ years of experience in Real Esate Accouting, Fund Accounting or Funds of Funds

Attention to detail for timely accurate reporting

Strong analytical skills

Strong communication skills

Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel

Yardi experience (preferred)
