Risk Management Consultant (Entry Level)

RESPONSIBILITIES:

40% of time:

· Review Weekly Internal Funding Cost and Weekly Money Market Transaction Price Reports;

· Complete Monthly Middle Office Risk Report;

· Conduct Monthly American Economic Analysis and complete Management Information Report;

· Prepare and support Head Office ( "HO”) required report;

· Support Quarterly Branch-wide Risk Assessment Report;

· Support Quarterly Risk Management Committee Minutes and collect departmental risk self-assessment reports and KRIs reports from departments of New York Branch & San Francisco Branch;

25% of time:

· Perform third party risk management routine tasks: Engagement Checklist routine maintenance, World Check update and review, engagement documents organization, other tasks upon request;

· Prepare Risk Alert Report for corresponding departments periodically;

· Support Quarterly IRA report and review changes and updates for all current engagements;

15% of time:

· Coordinate quarterly loan review project;

· Conduct contract renewal process to comply with TPRM Policy and Procedure;

· Ensure final deliverables – Credit Review Report and ALLL Report reflect department's comments;

15% of time:

· Review Credit Agreement for new loan account and list required financial documents based on financial covenant;

· Perform monitoring for the required documents and discuss with account officers for any issues;

· Public final Credit Tickler Monitoring Report on monthly basis;

5% of time:

· Other tasks as assigned by supervisor.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

Education & Experience:

· Master's Degree in project management, Business Administration, Finance or related field;

· Minimum 1 year of relevant working experience;

· Certifications in Risk & Compliance, IT & Information System Security, Fraud Prevention, and/or BSA/AML are plus;

· Knowledge of COSO, ERM, GRC, NIST, Basel II & III, GLBA and other risk & governance standards;

· Knowledge of banking laws and regulations;

· English and Chinese fluency is required.

· Ability to define problems, collect data, and provide valid conclusions;

· Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions and percentages;

· Ability to comply with all the related laws, regulations, and rules.
