Business Analyst
The Business Analyst is responsible for the set of tasks and techniques used to work as a liaison among stakeholders in order to understand the structure, policies, and operations of an organization.
Business analysis to include, but not limited to; government contract tracing system, government reporting and survellience system, state health network and subsequent websites.
Contractor to understand and develop documentation to include systems for case investigations, contact tracing, and monitoring to enhance electronic case reporting to public health, including for COVID-19, with data management improvements, interface improvement (such as RCKMS), data analytics and reporting enhancements (such as integrating SQL Server, SAS).
Implement requirements to establish or enhance electronic case reporting (eCR) from healthcare facilities to public health for COVID-19
Develop data integration and data mapping from external partners, hospitals and State Health Information Exchange using Orion Rhapsody and STFP; and provide system queries and results to support staff.
Necessary Skills:
Prior working knowledge of SQL .NET
Understanding of Agile Management
Background in data management
Experience working with API's
Knowledge of Rhapsody integration engine
Troubleshooting experience
Full cycle BA experience - information gathering through RFP
Prior experience working with Health EMR/EHR and public health data
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Nice to have:
Prior experience communicating EHR (electronic health records) and/or PHR (public health record) related issues
Experience with and/or knowledge of technical integration methods i.e. web services, SFTP, HL7 messages
Prior experience creating data dictionaries
Prior experience developing web forms using SMTP/HTML and Web Services
While this position is primarily remote work due to Covid, there may be the need for the candidate to come into the office ocassionally. Also, when our client resumes full onsite work with open offices, the candidate will be required to work on site 100%
