Job Description
A blockchain and tokenization firm is seeking a CCO.
The CCO will be the firm's first head of compliance and have a strong impact on the company's growth.
The firm is a startup and is in early growth mode. The CCO will:
Work with legal and product teams to design digital token products
Set up user onboarding flow (CIP, KYC for entities and individuals and AML), including integration of third-party vendors
Run compliance program for FinTech company (AML, SAR, compliance training, etc.)
Assist with license application process (state-level MTLs, limited purpose trust, FCM, etc.)
Position Qualifications:
Experience with product design and user onboarding (KYC, AML, CIP)
Experience independently running a compliance program
AML compliance experience a must, CAMS a plus
Prefer a strong understanding and experience with the commodities and blockchain industry
Prior regulatory experience with MTLs, NYDFS, CFTC, NFA or SEC a plus
Possesses strong relationship management and leadership skills with an entrepreneurial spirit
Ability to reach sound judgments and act quickly under tight deadlines
