Job Description

Jr. Data Analyst

Our logistic client is looking for a smart and talented Entry Level Junior Analyst to support their fast-growing enterprise.

The Junior Analyst will have the opportunity to contribute to a variety of projects across the department.

You will become proficient and further develop skills in Transportation and data analysis applications needed to perform the tasks of a Logistics Data Analyst.

You should have an interest in:

solving business challenges using data

gathering information needed to complete projects

putting together data driven case studies.

Junior Analyst Responsibilities:

Pull, validate, analyze, and deliver data as needed for projects.

Produce timely and accurate daily, weekly, and monthly reporting.

Coordinate vendor and client communications.

Setup carrier pricing in our Transportation Management System (TMS).

Assist with Business reviews.

Provide administrative support.

Troubleshoot pricing issues.

Other duties and responsibilities will be assigned as business demands deem necessary.

Jr Data Analyst Experience and Education:

High School Diploma is required.

2+ yrs experience in logistics, supply planning, or supply chain related areas.

Good understanding or MS Excel and general knowledge of other Microsoft Office applications.

Effective communication skills.

Should posses' high degree of versatility, good interpersonal skills, and excellent time management skills.

Working Conditions:

Sedentary role with a fast-paced work environment.

Open floor plan with moderate noise.

Must be able to use a computer and phone to conduct business.

This includes the ability to use hands, talk, see, and hear.
