Duties:

Manages the marketing activities and programs for the organization.

Develops and implements marketing plans to serve the business objectives.

Stays abreast of changes in the marketing environment and coordinates market research projects.

Selects and manages ongoing relationships with different marketing vendors.

May oversees advertising, events and public relationships.

Manages subordinate staff in the day-to-day performance of their jobs.

True first level manager. Ensures that project/department milestones/goals are met and adhering to approved budgets.

Has full authority for personnel actions.

Extensive knowledge of department processes.

Skills:

Proven SEO experience in building inbound organic search traffic and improving SERPs with larger web sites (10 million visitors per month or 500k indexable pages).

In-depth experience with website analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics, Adobe Analytics, Amplitude) and SEO tools (e.g. Search Console, Bing Webmaster Tools, SEMrush, ahrefs, Botify, Screaming Frog).

Working knowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript (including React) and App Fabric.

Knowledge of ranking factors and search engine algorithms.

Up-to-date with working knowledge of current, past, projected trends and best practices in the SEO industry.

Solid grasp of how blogging, press releases, social media, and related strategies go hand-in-hand with SEO.

The ability to work with back-end SEO elements such as hreflang, robots.txt, metadata, site speed optimization, and related skills.

Proven success in link building and viral strategies.

Proficient in analyzing and troubleshooting SEO related issues.

Ability to lead cross-functional teams and do SEO deep dives to solve SEO related issues.
